I'm after a cheap smart phone

Myself and a member of SLT have managed to drag the school kicking and screaming on to social media, at the moment it's just me doing all the updating and posting pictures and videos to facebook and twitter, So we've decided to get a school smart phone that can be taken on school trips and used to update the socials to goings on and ETA for pickups.

 

So I'm after a cheap PAYG android/windows phone and as we have an account with Tesco direct ideally it will need to come from them

 

this is what they currently offer https://shop.tescomobile.com/pay-as-you-go/mobile-phones with Alcatel Pixi phones starting from £35, I'll be first to admit I know nothing about Android phones other than cheap generally means slow, so my question is what would people recommend as a cheap, reliable phone out of that bunch on the Tesco website?

 

I'm expecting to have to replace it at least once a year so £500 Samsung Galaxy's are not an option.

Our telecoms people recommended IMO Q - IMO Mobile as a super basic but usable smartphone (emphasis on phone). There is a an imo-s which is apparently quite a bit better.

I'd steer clear of Alcatel, they seem to break quite often.

I'm quite liking the look of the Lenovo A plus as the specs seem to be better than all the other sub £100 phones and it's only £50
