CRB Cunningham Tills

Has anyone recently purchased any new tills from CRB Cunningham, if so what make and model where they? They are being very caged at telling me and I would like to assess what they quoted offer reasonable value for money. (hardware wise anyway)

We are replacing 4 this year, tell them to send you a tech spec and them usually do. We got sent a spec for "NINO II" machines apparently

That's also what we were quoted for in a cashless tender two months ago.

Our brand new mid June install came with Aures J2 240 tills (looks exactly like the Nino linked previously).

I dont see that model anymore, perhaps it's been replaced by the J2 600. From the look of things they are using the Aures brand anyhow.

If they tell me they are sending me NINO II and I get Aures then I will tell them that isn't what they quoted me for and ask them to prove they are better or equivalent in price and spec. I'm not paying for one model and having it changed for their convenience.

Aures are the distributors of POS equipment. Looking on their website all of their POS stations are branded Aures. https://www.aures.com/uk/point-of-sale-equipment-solutions-systems

Do any of you have the customer facing LCD display? Trying to work out the configuration in the Impact.ini, I know its on COM port 5. Don't know if someone could share, else phone call to Cunninghams.

If you don't mind that would be great, I'm sure its a setting that needs added to the ini file.
