Do you allow the use of flash in your browsers?

Yes because most KS1/KS2 "Educational" sites are still flash based, damn their eyes.

Yes. We have a number of known (and in some cases, paid for) websites that require it. We also have some exam software that requires it. We deploy it to all machines via Group Policy, with auto-update disabled. We don't slavishly deploy every new release, but do keep it reasonably up to date. If there were some sudden reason to get it off all of the machines, disabling the GPO would cause the machines to uninstall it during their next startup.

We've stopped deploying Java, but we still make it available for staff to install via add/remove programs (again, managed by us using Group Policy) should they need it for something.

Yes as many educational sites still need it. Still, things are improving - I'm impressed with Linguascope's work on this (it doesn't always play well with IE11 but that's not their fault). We make sure that patches are pushed out regularly either via WSUS or GPO for Windows 7. Students that abuse Flash have it banned on their accounts.

Yes but wish I didn't have to.

Yes because so many sites they use require flash. Its not like its a pain to update, on MacOS it takes me around 2 minutes to download, import to Munki and then to tell the whole site to update when on the login screen.

It doesn't take too much effort to update via GPO, but it sometimes feels like it's a weekly occurrence.
