Windows Defender Security Center

Anybody having any luck with managing Windows Security Security Center? We've got a third part anti virus solution in which does the brunt of the work but we're planning on keeping WDSC on (minus the firewall) in the background as an extra layer and I'm trying to set group policy settings to try hide it or restrict it so students and other users can't much about with the settings but so far I'm getting no where.

 

Is there something obvious I'm missing here? Any suggestions on how to tackle this or other best practises are appreciated

We run windows defender, disabling the Action Center was a major part of stopping access, along with restrictions you'd normally have for control panel etc. I'd also recommend disabling Toast notifications.
