Hi,

Hoping someone can help me out!

I have been trying to get our site set up with a locally hosted SIMS db and having some problems. We are migrating from ScoMIS to locally hosted, they have provided us with all of the data etc... but cant get the clients to update.

I've installed SOLUS3 and have a workstation added as a target. But the install isnt happening. It says there is no suitable updates available (on workstation) and on the update library its saying there arent any to retrieve (probably because the database is running the latest version)

My question is, how do I get SOLUS to use the upgrade zip files that ScoMIS provided me in order to put the out of date ones back in? Also, if the correct version is available on the library, should the install of SIMS start when the agent is installed on a client?

Hoping someone can help as this has to be done by end of close on Sunday... :(

Thanks!

The updates will have to be released to you before you can download them into SOLUS3 and subsequently push them out to clients. Are you sure the updates have been released to your site by, I assume, SCOMIS?

They'll be directly from Capita now. How will i know if they've been released? Will I need to have contacted them etc?

Typical, have to wait till Tuesday I expect, not good :ohwell:

Solus3 won't automatically deploy the client to a workstation until atleast one version has been deployed by the Solus3 server.

You'll know they'll have been released once they appear in your Update Library as to what is available/downloaded.

Yes Capita will need to release then and suspect you'll have to confirm with them that Solus3 is setup ready. Going forward you should then get them without having to ask.
