I'm trying to set up an iPad for a new teacher that a previous teacher .was using with no issues. Finding an issue getting it to accept the sslfilter.proxy.swgfl.org.uk with port 8080 though. Never had this issue before but now when I go to the wireless setting and populate that proxy information in the Manual option it looks like it's accepted it but then trying to open a browsing session it fails. Going back into the Manual box the information has gone. Any ideas, please? I'm wondering if it's a case of getting the googlessl certificate installed on an external Wireless connection might be needed as this issue has only appeared post the deployment of the new RM ssl certificate.

We've had it a few times, and its usually down to a glitch in IOS. If you haven't done it already, reset your network settings on your ipad through Settings, and try again. If that doesn't work, then try a restore. it's usually down to IOS having not quite installed properly (we didn't really have it until IOS 9.3, but 10 has been more frequent)

Champion - that worked a treat. :)
