claireadams Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Hi all, Some of you may remember my posts over the last 7 years now with my dad's health problems, many, many stays in hospital and major surgery. Well in July I'm going to be doing the Walk it! 10K in Bristol to raise some awareness and hopefully a little bit of money towards a fantastic charity that my dad wouldn't be here without. If anyone can spare anything at all, or even wish me luck! There's a fundraising page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Claire-Langton or you can text: CLLA85 £*plus amount* to 70070

Sorry to hear about your friend, my dad also ended up having to get a bag. We were close to loosing him for the 3rd time a few years back. It's such a taboo illness for some reason. 1

Tesla Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 One of my old school friends has it (someone else in my year has it too, actually), he's very vocal about support for it etc, I've never noticed it to be taboo, but then i was around him at school all the time so was always around it?

I'd heard of them both, but not how much it affects people, or that people could die from it.
DJ-1701 Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Done, a great cause and wishing you all the best. 1
claireadams Posted March 20, 2017 Author Posted March 20, 2017 I can't thank you all enough. I've almost hit the target I thought was high. 1
