[ms office - 2016] Clock in Powerpoint

Hi,

 

I've been asked to sort out a live digital clock for a powerpoint to work with exams. We have been using the Powerpoint Timer software but its a bit flakey and gets costly running on 4 machines.

 

Anyone use anyting else?

 

I've played with Live Pages and embedding FLVs but they arent ideal.

a quick google gave this live clock: Large Live Clock or have i got the wrong end of the stick about your requirements?

 

Our exams invigilators use a physical clock... much easier for us... until they need batteries..!

...well you can certainly do stuff with VBA....you could have a timer for every exam....and extra time for those that are allowed it. But frankly - it sounds like technology gone mad. A dry marker board with times written on - and a quartz controlled physical clock seem like an ideal solution.
