That looks like a generic computer system for any alien civilisation on Star Trek (The Original Series) episode.

It does look like that type of thing but as @Dos_Box guessed it was off of a Vectrex.

You are on the right track.

I'll put you all out of your misery. It's an Intel NetPort Express print server. These reguarly crashed (at least for me they did) and needed resetting regularly.

It may have been because they were running from an NT4.0 Server or just because the tech back then (circa 2000) simply wasn't up to the task. Intel discontinued them in 2001.

By this time most business class printers were coming with built in LAN ports.
