One Drive online content greyed out

We are having a few strange issues with staff and students not being able to open content on one drive using internet explorer as the content is greyed out?

Seems random as it is only effecting a few computers.

Could be this issue.... we have had this yesterday and today, try making the window size smaller.

Title: SharePoint Online content access issue



User Impact: Users are unable to access SharePoint files when the screen resolution is 1024 x 768 and browser zoom is 100%.



More info: When the browser zoom is set to anything other than 100%, the files are accessible.



Current status: We're investigating system logs and recent maintenance work to isolate the source of the issue.



Scope of impact: A few customers have reported this issue, and our analysis indicates that users using specific zoom and resolution settings are seeing this issue.

That is exactly the issue. Probably should have a checked service page before adding this.

Sounds like the devs have huge screens.

One of our teachers had this issue yesterday.

 

Our fix was temporarily removing the VGA cable for the projector, navigating to and opening the file, then plugging it back in for OneDrive to be greyed out again.

 

Also using Internet Explorer.

One of our teachers had this issue on Tuesday afternoon, thought it was the PC at the time and found a work around for it was to switch to Classic View. Then yesterday it got serious as several more staff started reporting it and after racking my brains trying to work out why it only affected certain staff on certain PC's but not others on the same PC or the same staff on a different PC (which effectively ruled out both the user profile and the PC's!!), it affected some staff on IE but not Chrome and some on both Chrome and IE. Figured it out by accident after clicking on the restore down button and it fixed it, then checked the zoom levels on both IE and Chrome which has sorted the problem.
