Paper forms to Digital Forms ( software or online )

Hello,

 

We are looking to convert our paper forms like absent request, trip form and cover request to digital form, staff fill them online (form) and it will store as a form and the appropriate person approve/disapprove them?

 

We are also interested in online job application form.

 

We looked into google forms but as they don't support tables , it is not fit for purpose.

 

Any one is already using this kind of forms , software or any suggestion.....

We use SharePoint Online.We built some workflows to do everything that we needed it to do. The SLT are over the moon with the results.

We actually have this working with Google forms. It needs some third party addons (form mule and copydown) to make it work but when it does you can setup an approval system. We use it for approving orders by our finance team but are extending for staff training requests.

interestingly, Google are about to launch "app maker" for extending exactly type of thing. See the 'blue forms' comment in the video and sign up for the early release

I second this, I would love to be able to suggest a solid but affordable online application form. Google Docs doesn't seem to be the answer as you can't save your progress as you go. (I know you can submit and then edit later, but that isn't quite what we need)

We'd like to change all paper requests to electronic form as well. When is the AppMaker coming out?

It's in beta for Google for Business at present and not available for Education as far as I know. No arrival date that I'm aware of, but it looks interesting.

We haven't introduced any electronic forms for external comms yet, but all our internal personnel related forms are now PDF forms, created in Illustrator and InDesign.

 

However, they are a transitional thing - they are relatively clunky, and we will be moving to something web based as and when we can - most likely using Sharepoint in Office 365.
