just_david Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Has anyone else had any issues with Chrome and Go Science? The latest version of flash and chrome seems to break go science. However I need to update chrome to get impero working. Go Science just opens up as a blank non-interactive screen with no content.
PrimaryNetMan Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 What happens when you go to - Adobe - Flash Player
just_david Posted October 6, 2016 Author Posted October 6, 2016 (edited) Tells me everything is fully up to date and I have the latest versions Other flash content seems to work but I'll test some more flash software later Got it working by reverting to an old version of Chrome. Imperos going to have to stay broken for now Edited October 6, 2016 by just_david
Bev Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 I;'m having similiar problems with My Maths and Scratch. If I go to the flash page, flash isn't installed but I can't update it as it just says chrome automatically updates flash.
Techykev Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Similar story here with Scratch and IE, I have got it working in Chrome by downloading the Flash ppapi msi and installing that. However Scratch still won't work with IE on about half the PC's even though Flash is up to date and working fine on every other flash website. Only way I can find to get it working on the affected PC's is to re-image them and as there are about 120 or so in the IT suites I am very loathe to do this at the moment until I can figure out what exactly is causing the issue. Sorry, not trying to hijack the Chrome thread with IE problems!!!
just_david Posted November 4, 2016 Author Posted November 4, 2016 Its okay, It wasn't actually chrome that's the problem, it's all flash. And it just seems that they don't support the latest version. At least for go science. But then afaik its nigh on 8 years old
