A Couple of Questions

Hi,

 

1) Does anyone know of any online booking system for trips - We want to send out a email to parents saying for example please click here to go to ..... and see trip/details and payment they then can give conset etc online

This is instead of sending letters home or at least cutting down the amount of letters going out - and reply slips not coming back.

 

We currently have tucasi but that is only payments online.

 

 

2) anyone got any good Sims Intouch user guides that we can have copies of please what capita have got are not even worth burning.

For eConsent matters, I'm aware of CareMonkey (But havn't used it myself, But I know a number of schools have started and one of my local state Branches of Scouts have)

 

I've checked the list of our suppliers for Online payments, none of them seem to also cover permission form management and retention services.

We use Tucasi for payments, and Groupcall for letters out. We're down to almost zero parents with no email access now.

 

When it comes to consent, we use blanket presumed consent. If you don't tell us at the beginning of the year you don't want us to take kids out, consent is presumed for all trips.

Check whether Tucasi has an option to specify parental consent for items which are being paid for - Schoolcomms, Parent Pay and parentmail all have that option.

 

Alternatively, in your letters put a statement saying that making payment will be taken as giving consent.

 

We also sometimes put a Google form out before confirming whether a trip will take place to ensure that enough parents are prepared to pay to make the trip viable and on those occasions add a tick box for consent.
