Hello,

Was just looking at TeamViewer ITbrain monitor when I stumbled on Pulseway which seems to do loads more and much cheaper.

Basically need remote access to servers, server monitoring with emailing if a service stops, backup runs or the server goes offline.

I don't want to put it on any real servers just yet but wanted to know if anyone had used it? Or if anyone can recommend something similar that can work across different sites.

Thanks

PRTG if you have need less than 100 sensors is free but you could jus setup a server on each site, would cost you a Windows license on top but it can do loads i.e. check disk space, check web services availabilty etc . It also doesn't need an agent installing on the device it's monitoring.

Bearing in ming how much it can do you could find your self easily using up the 100 sensors.

There are other free linux based alternatives which I'm sure others on here would recommend.

Intel MeshCentral is free - we use it for connecting to all our servers throughout our MAT and other schools outside of the trust that we support on a contractual basis.

MUTINY is great (and cheap) for monitoring for monitoring servers (if they go down it emails you and you can also monitor services). Not sure about monitoring your backups though.
