JATSO Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Hi all, Hope this is the right place for this. Been happening a over a week now that when I try and browse the Edugeek website using Chrome it hangs and crashes. I have uninstalled Chrome and cleared the cache and plugins and re-installed via a fresh download but it still crashes. Switch IE 11 and Edugeek works fine. Anyone had an issue lately?
Jawloms Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Running latest Chrome here no problems. What OS? I'm on W10.
LeMarchand Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Had a teacher whose Chrome wasn't working properly, and I had renamed her folder in AppData\Local\Google\Chrome to old, which forced a new profile and cured the problem. Not sure if this does more than clearing the cache etc.

6Foot2 Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 ...Only happens when on the Edugeek Website though seems fine on other sites which is an odd one. That is odd. Is it the same for other computers at your place of work? Is this a laptop that you could take home? [Test the same machine with another Internet connection]
jdoyle Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I'm on Version 50.0.2661.102 m and all working well. Any Conflicts detected? chrome://conflicts/ what happens if you browse in Guest mode or create another Chrome user profile (Settings menu, People sub option)?
JATSO Posted May 17, 2016 Author Posted May 17, 2016 It's my laptop that I use all the time, thinking of moving to Win10, just an odd one really, does it at my other schools as well and at home. Might be just a buggy Windows OS now.
