kestrel1 Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Does anybody here use Classroombookings? http://www.classroombookings.com If so, do you know how to import a CSV of the users for the system. I have tried emailing for support, but had no response. I have a few more issues with it, but would like to sort one thing out at a time.
webman Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Hi. Sorry about the delay.. sometimes I don't get as much time as I like to reply to emails for Classroombookings. Anyway, the CSV file format is: "username, firstname, lastname, email, password" If you set the password at upload time (on the form) then the password field in the CSV file will be ignored. Hope that helps.
PEO Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 i believe the csv file is Username Firstname Lastname Email Password go to users on the admin control panel then you can import csv there
kestrel1 Posted February 5, 2008 Author Report Posted February 5, 2008 Thanks for the replies guys. I will have a look at this later. Webman, if you are anything like me you are probably too busy to sit & email everyone. I do appreciate your time though. I will post the other problems when I have sorted this out. Thanks for a great piece of programming.
webman Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 No problem. Yeah, you're right. But I hope to re-open the forums soon and get cracking with bugfixes and new features etc... now if only I could pause time
kestrel1 Posted February 5, 2008 Author Report Posted February 5, 2008 Yes, I know what you mean. It would be rather handy to be able to pause time. You could stop people moaning & just walk away.
webman Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Yes, I know what you mean. It would be rather handy to be able to pause time. You could stop people moaning & just walk away. Heheh Amongst other things...
kestrel1 Posted February 5, 2008 Author Report Posted February 5, 2008 lol. Just tried the csv layout & I am getting this error: The filetype you are attempting to upload is not allowed I expect I am doing something wrong as usual. Cheers
webman Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Hi I think that error is down to permissions - first check that the /temp directory (same directory level as /system/ and /webroot/ directories) has write permissions.
kestrel1 Posted February 8, 2008 Author Report Posted February 8, 2008 Sorry not to get back to you sooner. I have used chmod on the temp directory, but this has made no odds. I tried 755, 766 & even 777. any other ideas? thanks
kestrel1 Posted February 9, 2008 Author Report Posted February 9, 2008 Thanks very much. It may just be me being a plank.
cookie_monster Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 We don't have any linux boxes at the moment are there any instructions for installing it on windows with apache? Thanks.
webman Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Hi Cookie_monster The instructions are pretty much the same except you probably won't need to change permissions (chmod). I recommend the WAMP package for this.
kestrel1 Posted February 12, 2008 Author Report Posted February 12, 2008 (edited) I thought I would post a test CSV file so that you can see if there may be something I have got wrong. Had to attach it as a text file.user.txt Edited February 12, 2008 by kestrel1
kestrel1 Posted February 25, 2008 Author Report Posted February 25, 2008 Any thoughts on this one yet? Cheers
DarshanC Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 Anyone ever solve this? Im having the exact same error.
