Like I always say.. I grew up with Unreal Tournament and Quake. You need more than just the gun in your hand. Movement is your best weapon. If they can't shoot you, you can't die.

 

Tracer, Lucio and Mercy all have movement-based mechanics. To a degree I guess Hanzo and Farah (And Genji? Can Genji run up walls too?) do too, but not in the same way.

Yeah, saw that last night. Kind of like TF2's medic crossbow (I forget its name).. Maybe it's a new hero, maybe they're introducing loadouts.. We'll see.

A game that already has microtransactions is fine whilst it's all vanity, but when those boxes can potentially affect gameplay... nothx

Depends on how the equipment is obtained. Looking at how much pointless rubbish vanity equipment there is now, I very much doubt they'd make things that change mechanics obtained from loot boxes.

 

Kind of sucks how much vanity stuff there is that's pointless. The only 'useful' things are character skins, victory poses, POTG intros and maaaybe at a stretch, golden guns.

Voice lines, emotes and sprays are all just daft and nobody really uses them (apart from when you spray the door in spawn at the start of a game..)

Must of been a odd game, you get the usual post match name calling sometimes (like every other game in the world). Never been in a game with a high amount of abuse.

I've heard of a lot of abuse in Competitive mode, but Quick Play seems alright. Had someone call @NokiX (or was it @DalekSec?) a kid last night lol, and I've only seen one other person being actually abusive (effing and jeffing). Aside from that, Quick Play has been pretty calm.
