Absolutely trounced the enemy team 3-0 It's a really beautiful map. * Up to 2,300-and-something now.. Was 2.6k last season!

I haven't played Competitive yet, i'm no good at playing with people who get way to angry at things! Even games i'm pretty good at like Rainbow Six Siege i haven't done any ranked! Might do overwatch sometime trying to get my 1st star! Level 88 at the moment
Garacesh Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I'm preferring Competitive to Quick Play recently, but I know myself and I know my interest drifts back-and-forth. I'll go back to QP to play with some new characters.. At the moment I'm mostly playing Soldier 76 (if we don't have one his DPS is just too stupid to not pick him), D.Va or Zarya (if we need tanks) or Lucio or Zenyatta (if we need supports). Realistically for me to be able to fit in to any team composition, I need to get better with at least 1 more Offence hero and Reinhardt (because I'm an awful Rein), but I'd like to do competitive Mercy too.

Xellpnz Posted January 13, 2017 Author Posted January 13, 2017 Its in PTR at the moment. Blizzard also nerfs D.Va to a small extent with this update. She loses 200 armor but gains 200 health, and her weapon now deals less damage. She fires more bullets per shot (11, up from 8), but each bullet does less damage (2, down from 3). Basicly, shes squishy, and does less damage when she does no dmg at mid/long range. So i cant go into combat, as reaper/phara/tracer/mai/roadhog/76/ and alot others can take her out very fast. but i have to due to range of weapon spread and dmg reduction........ shes not a tank or skirmisher now. Hell a buffed reaper 2 hits me...... no joke.
Garacesh Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 Shouldn't make all that much difference in the long run.. Armour reduces a max of 5 damage per hit. IIRC Reaper fires 8 pellets per shot. So that armour is only mitigating 40 damage per trigger-pull. It means people are going to have to learn how to properly use D.Va's barrier when they're in danger rather than just happily soaking up damage.
