I don't want to nag but wonder if you've got a rough idea of when the recording might be available (I was one of those who couldn't get any sound) - it's just that I'm supposed to be submitting our OVS-ES renewal request to our finance dept. by tomorrow, and am not sure whether to wait or not!

We're still debating whether to go for a 3 year option now to last until 2019, or do 1 year, then 1 year, then 3 years to try to get to 2021.

The latter would suit us better and I've seen it mentioned on other threads, but we've had mixed messages from resellers (our usual people couldn't assure us that the strategy would definitely work) so we'd just have liked to hear something direct from Microsoft if possible. I'm guessing the question would have been asked yesterday.

Are you able to take out a 3 year deal now and renew it in 2018 before July?

No, once you are tidied into an agreement you have to see it through.

Microsoft are going to be making it available to us very soon. We had hoped it would be today but will most likely be tomorrow now. @ZeroHour is dealing with it and will let us all know in due course.

I couldn't make the Webinar but for those who had sound issues, if it was delivered by Skype for Business it would be because you didn't have a microphone on your PC. We've ran a couple of revison sessions out of school hours for students and we've asked them to cheat by plugging a set of headphones in the microphone socket to make the computer things theres a mic installed. It's a known bug / issue with Lync / Skype for Business.
