About Jace58

  1. Enjay - we're also direct with ESS for licensing but not for support, and we still got the email - at the email address we use for the renewals portal, which is also the one from which I'd previously sent notice of cancellation in December.
  2. I've had the email about the "break clause" too. We had in fact sent notice of cancellation back in December, to be on the safe side - presumably in our case that's the "query" to which ESS's email refers!
  3. It's based on our contract end, so is effectively a final deadline. There will be lots of training and preparation going on in the meantime.
  4. Changing to Arbor (Secondary); staying with current support provider. Initial meetings etc last term, paperwork signed and sent off in December, migration to be completed by April; awaiting next instructions!
  5. I don't want to nag but wonder if you've got a rough idea of when the recording might be available (I was one of those who couldn't get any sound) - it's just that I'm supposed to be submitting our OVS-ES renewal request to our finance dept. by tomorrow, and am not sure whether to wait or not! We're still debating whether to go for a 3 year option now to last until 2019, or do 1 year, then 1 year, then 3 years to try to get to 2021. The latter would suit us better and I've seen it mentioned on other threads, but we've had mixed messages from resellers (our usual people couldn't assure us that the strategy would definitely work) so we'd just have liked to hear something direct from Microsoft if possible. I'm guessing the question would have been asked yesterday.
