I dont think its required. I have tested the mac web client and it is working as well. Chris has had a few sound issues so we are investigating.

The Skype web plugin is not supported on Windows RT, Linux and Chromebooks.

 

You need to pay Microsoft to learn about their licensing. Genius.

Apologies - what I meant is that I had tested the headphones by playing a Youtube clip, not that the stream is available on Youtube

Youtube streaming is a lot more limited in feature set over Skype for Business currently.

 

Those without audio *should* be able to go old school with a phone to dial in and listen to the broadcast over that although you will need Skype web/full to watch the slides.

I'll have to pick it up from the recording, tried changing settings but despite system sounds working and being able to listen to audio in Youtube the meeting remained resolutely silent.

Nothing working at all on my linux desktop or any of the Chromebooks we have.

This is exactly the sort of omishambles that drives people away from MS.

We shouldn't need partially working plugins 5yrs ago let alone in 2016.

looking forward to recording - missed first half with sound issues but found the bit I heard very useful.
