Portable projector suggestions

We're looking for a portable projector that will mainly be used by SLT in the HT's office for a weekly meeting. It may occasionally be used in our staff room as well. Any suggestions?

MX570 is only 1.9kg.

 

That's 3200 ansi, XGA with a 5yr on-site warranty. That's probably our best-value education projector. It has a wide throw ratio as well so easy to position.

 

 

There are smaller A5 size products that are more portable but they normally offer less brightness. You can run this in lampsave mode to extend the bulb-life up to 10'000hrs as well.

 

 

That's 4:3. You might want to look at 16:9?

I use some Sony VPL units for this. Cheap, decent LCD models. I remember reading that DLP machines, with their spinning colour wheels, are not so resilient for portable work and getting plonked about. We're a mainly BenQ shop, so I have nothing against their DLP stuff but I don't use it in dusty workshops or for portable use.
