ESET Blocking Everything on HTTP Filter

Morning,

 

Anyone found issues with ESET blocking everything today through the HTTP Filter? I have hundreds of errors accessing simple websites.. even a internal XIBO server.

 

And there phone number is engaged constantly.

 

I am finding it a frustrating experience.

 

In v6 on the servers I am getting HIPS errors saying 'User rules contain invalid data' so disabled HIPS... but still getting the errors which they can't understand, so they asked me to go to v4.5 so see if the error went away but that doesn't even have HIPS on it and it doesn't use the remote console.

Yep, getting the same thing here (with ESET). I can google anything just fine but when I click the links I get a page cannot be displayed error. Interestingly, all the links are starting with HTTP, if I make these HTTPS then the google links work.

 

I've been telling people to use Bing for now

Well that was clever of them.

 

Kapersky are getting it as well on their forums.

 

Rolling back just isn't an option if some pc's\laptops are not linked to ERA.

I've just done it from the admin console, clients have already picked up the change, my test PC is working again

I cant seem to find the task to enable the updates, might just leave it while tomorrow then as I set it to 24 hours.. I think

Found the enable, you have to go into rollback then there is an option to enable the update on the drop down... logical
