I'd like to use my SMART board in extended desktop (Windows 7), but I can't get the orient screen to move to the extended desktop. I know the obvious solution is "press space to move it", but that doesn't come up as an option and just doing it doesn't have any effect either. Is this an option that should have been installed during initial setup? Any thoughts or help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

I'm just speculating here, but has it got anything to do with which screen is classed as 1 and 2 in your Extended Desktop configuration?

jonnykewell1 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Just trying to think off the top of my head, do you do this during the actual orientation step or do you do it when the ink layer is on the screen after picking up a pen? I know space bar certainly fixed it for me before.
L_Smith Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 The staff that use extended desktop here can either use space or by pressing orient button again. What model IWB's do you have and what version of the Smart software are you using?
brewer86 Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 I guess I could do it that way, but then my actual desktop is projected to the board - defeating the point of being able to do work whilst my students are using the board
