I’ve just re-installed and it does the same thing. Video plays fine, but as soon as I exit the video by closing it via the X in the top left corner, the screen goes black, the app crashes and returns me to the home screen.

 

I can then relaunch the app fine, but it refreshes itself, as if it’s just been launched.

Updated. I must admit I do prefer the Beta version. The font seems much easier to read.

Mostly just stability stuff to see if/when it crashes.

Version 7 has been released to the public! It literally just went out so it will probably take an hour or so for the app store to show the update.

 

Thanks for testing all! there will no doubt be another version to test in the future so dont remove Test Flight but if you are running a beta version please upgrade to the live v7 using: http://edugeek.me/to/iosapp

Just got the latest update

A new version will be coming soon (not via Test Flight, it will be on the app store) which has a roundup of bug fixes including the Youtube video crash bug. I am testing it myself right now but since its nothing major it will probably go straight onto the app store.

The update is out on the live app store! If you are still on the test flight version just install the live store version over the top. There will be an orange circle next to the left of the app name if you still have the test flight version installed. Edited July 12, 2018 by ZeroHour

Couldn’t find where to post bugs with the App Store version so posting here.

Issue is when I get a iOS notification from the EduGeek app when I tap on the notification to open the EduGeek app it opens on the front page rather than the thread the notification was referring to.

Yeah app store version is the current only version.

I will see if I can figure out how to recreate the notification bug to report it. I have noticed it happening sometimes as well.

Thanks ZH. Think It has something to do with the authentication token timing out. When I was experiencing this issue I had not entered m u/p recently but could log in and add posts etc but notifications were not bringing me to the notification screen in the app. However have just tried tapping a notification again and this time I was prompted for my u/p and now I am taken to the correct thread by tapping on a iOS push notification.

Not the first time. Even after phone and app restarts it comes back.
