sparkeh Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Just noticed the "OP" badge next to people's names. I like that, is it new?

elsiegee40 Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 The notifications alerts have changed. And so has thanks. I'll reserve judgement for the moment 1
JonThompson Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 The notifications alerts have changed. And so has thanks. I'll reserve judgement for the moment And I've just found the thanks button. Or rather a heart. Not sure about that, it's a bit lovey dovey.
sparkeh Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 You still can't remove thanks in the app. Any plans for that? 2
elsiegee40 Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 You still can't remove thanks in the app. Any plans for that? I've become a dab hand at nipping in to web view when I want to do things that are impossible or harder in the app. It's how I do a lot of moderation. I really ought to take note.
elsiegee40 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 The smilies aren't displaying any more. I just see the characters typed even for the simple ones like See this comparison 1
sparkeh Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 (edited) The smilies aren't displaying any more. Confirmed. Just to expand that a bit, is there any scope for having the app display the same smilies as the web. Eg shows up as : hat : (no spaces). (and that makes no sense if read in the app ) Edited November 22, 2016 by sparkeh 1
sparkeh Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Oh wait, the smilie in the post above did show up in the app!? 1
elsiegee40 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Oh wait, the smilie in the post above did show up in the app!? It is for me too, but still not showing in my post about this problem ( this should show) 1
elsiegee40 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 It is for me too, but still not showing in my post about this problem ( this should show) EDIT And it does?! 1

sparkeh Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Just testing this iOS[emoji106][emoji42] [emoji47][emoji22][emoji25][emoji29] Works for me So, oddly the original smile posted by @elsiegee40 doesn't show up as a smilie but the others do? 1
elsiegee40 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 (edited) Works for me So, oddly the original smile posted by @elsiegee40 doesn't show up as a smilie but the others do? The one I showed in DaveP's post didn't show either and neither did the one I made when reporting this problem. In fact that still doesn't show. EDIT But the one in this post does Just cleared cache and it makes no difference Edited November 22, 2016 by elsiegee40
ZeroHour Posted November 22, 2016 Author Posted November 22, 2016 Just to say the location services problem should be fixed in the next build but I am waiting on a few others bugs to be fixed before I roll out a new version to you all. 3
elsiegee40 Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 @ZeroHour the smilies are definitely not consistent. Disappeared again 1
ZeroHour Posted November 24, 2016 Author Posted November 24, 2016 @ZeroHour the smilies are definitely not consistent. Disappeared again I have not reported that bug yet, once I have the last 3 done and working I will send that in as its an annoying but not breaking issue so far.
ZeroHour Posted November 25, 2016 Author Posted November 25, 2016 (edited) Ok so if I tap on the thanks you gave me in the post above, and the iPad is in landscape I get the screen below. If I touch the < arrow it highlights like its been pressed but nothing happens. If I turn the iPad to portrait I get the following layout and the < arrow takes me back to the thread What version of ios are you using @sparkeh? EDIT: I presumed it was 10 and they have been able to recreate the bug and it should hopefully be fixed soon Edited November 25, 2016 by ZeroHour 2
elsiegee40 Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 Notifications are annoying me. I get a badge with a number in it. I go into the app, go to notifications and work my way through those with a red blob. When I leave the app, the badge is still there. Go back into the app and notifications and there's no new ones. Leave the app and the badge has gone. 1

You quoted me just to annoy me right. If I didn't know you so well ... Seriously, thought that's interesting. I don't have this problem in any other apps on iOS 10 though.

NokiX Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 The update seems to have logged me out but I still get notifications as though I was logged in. I expect it's probably because it was an update rather than a clean install but thought I would mention it just in the event it is a bug. 1
