nikoxley Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Collegue of mine has a old Xserve 2006 intel model that was used to map drive and printers, When trying to power on the unit, the power comes on OK but he only gets a white screen , no apple logo , no chime. I suspect the logic board may have gone on this. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced any problems like this and if they had any solutions ?

They're not expensive to replace, especially if you can make do with an old Mac Pro out of the rack instead.
nikoxley Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 Thanks 3s-gtech Tried the solutions you posted still no joy Its looking like the board Unless anyone else has any other suggestions
plumtech Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Does it have a RAID card? If so I would expect it to be the battery. Easy to change if you can find the part. I would try booting from a bootable USB and check the RAID utility.
