Hi All, Due to a recent number of reoccurring damages of MacBook chargers/screens/keyboards in one of my schools I have been asked to write a Loss and Damage Policy but don't really know where to start. The key points are: Departments to be charged for non accidental loss or damage Case by case basis Each case to be recorded with evidence Incidents to be reported immediately How do you manage this sort of thing in your schools? Any policy examples you wouldn't mind me looking at please? Thanks Jack

Does it have a RAID card? If so I would expect it to be the battery. Easy to change if you can find the part. I would try booting from a bootable USB and check the RAID utility.

TechMonkey is right you have to forward the UDP port that your WOL utility is using on the core switch, I found that mc-wol would use random ports so I used WOLcmd so you can specify the port. Hope that helps.
