So the t&c's say US K12 establishments are not eligible would that be similar to a UK secondary?

I got a Free Access point off them which is the t&c's last year, so you should be good to go! (Different Company now...)

I had an access point 3 years ago from a similar scheme tbh and it was working great until recently when the cloud license expired

Dependant on the model it can be flashed with firmware to make work without the license. Also heard of instances were they will give you a new license if you ask nicely enough...

Tried that got no where

 

Looked at reflashing but couldn't be bothered with the hassle so I bought a £17 tp-link access point instead.

Been running one of the free switches for about 6 months now. Rock solid, and easy to manage. I really like the Meraki switches and will seriously be considering them for multi-academy trust stuff in future, as they'd be so easy to manage at the different sites!

Also had one for 6 months now great switch. We also run Meraki access points. Never had a problem. [emoji16]

We purchased 10 meraki access points , very nice equipment.

 

We are also now looking at Meraki layer 3 core switches
