Bagpuss66 Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Has anyone managed to block the following type of website https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/68231368/ short of blocking Scratch which we obviously can't do. 1
cherd84 Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Apologies for my half an answer. Been visiting another school a day a week recently and they just block the projects section of the site rather than the whole Scratch domain and that seems to work for them but have yet to try that out at where I'm usually based.

Chris2785 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Good suggestion, any other idea's? having the problem myself.
dry Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Also interested in hearing responses. Got quite a predicament as I want my code club to be able to see public projects but at the same time don't want them unboxing Fifa packs for the whole of the session!
Chris2785 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Been told a solution: Block the following: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/[0-9]+ You can still create. Anything that needs to be seen can just be allowed via its project number.
GRitchie Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 (edited) Giving that a shot myself, @Chris2785, now, thanks! UPDATE: the link converts to - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/%5b0-9 This still right? Edited December 11, 2015 by GRitchie
Chris2785 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 No just type in exactly what I posted. Add it to URL Patterns, sorry should of mentioned that. Thanks.
GRitchie Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Excuse my ignorance, new Smoothie customer here, where's URL Patterns?
Chris2785 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Guardian » Policy objects » Categories Click Advanced - It's in there.

Bagpuss66 Posted April 6, 2016 Author Posted April 6, 2016 (edited) Hello Folks Having tried this. Unfortunately no luck. Have I missed something. Even tried blocking the whole site (scratch.mit.edu) Thanks Ern Still no luck here as well, we've left it to the teachers now to block using Lan School. It's really a classroom management issue now.
