no, sometimes the addin tab appears but more often than not it doesnt. I should say its a group policy problem somewhere along the line

All macros are enabled, and there are a few trusted locations.

It's an individual report - word template.

Hi all. When a user runs a word template from sims, word should open with the add in tab across the top but it doesn't. I have checked the group policy settings and macros are enabled and certain users are in that security tab but it still won't show the add ins tab. Windows 10 Office 2016 Any ideas? Thanks

Been told a solution: Block the following: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/[0-9]+ You can still create. Anything that needs to be seen can just be allowed via its project number.

Add the domain to the "allowed" list.

Good suggestion, any other idea's? having the problem myself.
