Does anyone know if Yammer is still covered by the O365 agreement that schools have access to. I'm pretty sure it was when our O365 was set up close on 2 years ago now. Not a tool we have used but I understand that a lot of schools are now using it for secure communication for Governors etc.

What sort of things are you using it for? I hear it's particularly useful for Governors, with Clerks able to circulate all sorts through it securely.

Signed up recently and it was included. Seemed to be making a big thing of it actually.

Thanks for your reply - in what sort of way is it annoying?

Sadly there is no way of getting rid of it, extremely frustrating for those of us who want nothing to do with it.

It's not exactly annoying, but there's very little manageability associated with it as it doesn't integrate with either the sharepoint or exchange side of O365. So you can't for example allow only a select group of people access to Yammar, it's all or nothing. Unless you use the workaround of bulk creating user accounts and suspending those you don't want access, but that's extremely rigid or perhaps Dir Sync, but given we use ADFS that's not something we particularly want to use.
