Yeah certain sites down too in Wales, seems widespread across UK with JANET providing internet to most academic institutions, most Uni's are down too.

There's been no official word from Janet as yet but a quick search for the incident hashtag on twitter seems to show the service is returning https://twitter.com/hashtag/TT169600?src=hash

The DDoS attack is clearly having a negative impact on internet connectivity. Unfortunately within the BGfL, we're unable to point services to an external DNS.
