Getting the free drinks was easy. Getting the free pizza was a different matter entirely!!!!!

Survival of the fittest, only the strongest get pizza...

I thought the free pizza was easy too.

 

For those not present, just imagine a 'U' of tables surrounding some pizza ovens, with hordes of hungry exhibitors nearly 3 deep ... each only able to take a single slice at a time onto their plate ... and some trying to get 2, 3 or even 4 slices to take back to colleagues. Such a feeding frenzy you normally only get to see at the shark feeding session at the Sealife centre!

 

Imagine a hungry geek (with a thing for Pizza) bearing down on said crowd ... grabbing a slice or two just to keep his energy up ... and then ...

 

Pounce!!!

 

A tray with two full Pizzas has been grabbed by said geek and held high above his head (considering he is only 5' 9" it wasn't held that high). The intrepid geek purposely strides through the crowd ... not a single person attempting to take a slice ... they all knew better!!!

 

And so, our hero returns to his fellow revelers with the Pizza ... Does he get a rowsing cheer? No ... just someone moaning that he couldn't juggle the pizza and his bottle of beer!

 

It was funny how the girls serving didn't shout at me .. just told everyone else at the tables off ... "Now you listen here, no more than one slice at a time" could be heard as I marched away.

Incidentally... I only had one drink at that time (the Coke was Tony's - I DO NOT DRINK COKE!). Of course 5 minutes later when all the beer had run out and I was left drinking a pint of white wine...

Free bar ran out of beer after about 90 mins though. Still we got plenty

Well so long as its free drink EG Cola, Orange, Apple etc I'm still happy. I don't need to be under the alfluence of incohol to enjoy things
