Accessing Shared Office 365 calendar on iPad/iPhone

Hi

 

we have created a shared calendar in Office 365. We can share the calendar with members of staff/groups and the individuals receive and email telling them that we wish to share the calendar with them, which they accept. this works fine in Office 365 web mail and Outlook. However, we would like members of staff to access the shared calendar on mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads. Is this possible. I have heard different reports saying that it is or isn't. Is anyone doing this? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I asked some iphone users and they said this had helped:

 

"The build-in calendar app of iPhone doesn’t support opening shared calendars for Office 365 mailboxes. It used to be a limitation for iPhone users until the OWA App for iPhone was released. The experience of using OWA App for iPhone is similar to the Outlook Web APP. You can choose which shared mailboxes can be viewed in the calendar view, and can select different calendars when creating events. "

Yeah, you need the OWA app. The button to show available calendars is a bit hard to find tho'
