I have attached a external hard drive to the server and am setting up a shared folder for Staff and Admins. I have copied permissions from the RMStaff shared folder, and configured the drive in the RM Management Console Locations>Main Site>Drive Mappings

When an administrator logs on they see the mapped drive letter in Windows Explorer.

When a staff user logs on the mapped drive is not showing, but is accessible by typing \\servername\sharename in explorer.

I can not understand why Staff are not seeing the new mapped drive, but administrators are. Staff can only see C: N: T: and W:

I tried mapping the drive as S: and when this did not work I tried O:

I can only imagine there is another rogue setting somewhere in the RM system which is preventing the mapped drive from being created. The event viewing is giving no errors, so it is like it is not trying to create the mapped drive at all for staff. I can also confirm the machine are not blocking propagation of settings to their location, confirmed by the fact administrators can see the new mapped drive on the same machines.

Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this problem please?
