Hi over half term I migrated all student mailboxes to office365. I have just noticed that I haven't locked down creation of distribution groups, and just found that students have created a few dodgy looking ones. As an administrator is there anyway of removing them or working out who created them?

Yep if you go to admin center > select groups you can select and delete the user created groups. Also you can check which users have been added to the distribution group. Only thing I cannot work out is if a student has created a group can they delete themselves afterwards to cover their tracks? Edited by jslate1980

I believe so, yes. Especially if it's the Office 365 groups functionality.
