LiamH Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 After some mis-adventure in the nether (and a big weapons upgrade). I managed to get some blaze rods. I have a blaze spawner in my base you are welcome to use. Think everyone needs to make themselves some better armor! I've now got a mooshroom farm, pig farm and chicken farm set up, plus I kidnapped a Villager who sells emeralds for beef and pork. Makes life easier! I killed the enderdragon last night, made the first set of armour while waiting for the blocks to infuse, might need to build a reactor just for that. And the new armour is amazing, going to take a while to get used to the extra quick speed, immune to fire now and can take a heck of a beating. Went through a lot of diamond but it was so worth it. The end portal is towards EG's base, i got lucky with a ground glitch while eye of endering it down and was able to tunnel down directly into the portal room.

localzuk Posted November 5, 2015 Author Posted November 5, 2015 Finally got my Ender Quarry up and running last night. Now all I need to do is get things auto-processing - pulverizing etc... Also want to get ComputerCraft controlling my reactor. So, it'll automatically turn it off and on when my storage drops below a certain level, and to keep the fuel flowing into and waste out of it. Should be easy enough to do!

I had tried both using a tree farm and making charcoal and using solar generators with light detectors but nothing was really cutting it. So I've set up an ender pump in the nether that's pumping lava on red-red-red via endertanks. This is working a lot better for me. I then set up the basics for thaumcraft I scanned the basic aspects and researched the essential stuff. I built myself some goggles of revealing and mapped out nearby nodes. I dabbled with forbidden magic and made a ring of nutrition.

ADMaster Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 My ISP just doesn't make sense. Every night 8:30 - 9:30 and beyond the game starts lagging very badly I can't play. I checked ping times 3000 + MS, did a speed test and once ping completes it reports a half decent speed. I currently average 150ms to the game server I also checked a few other sites and I get 1000+ ms to google I called them up to report the issue and when they found out the old modem I have they blamed that and said I need a new one. Me: so the old modem that works now is programmed to slow down at night? ISPTech: yes Me: so your going to give me a new one at no cost? ISPTech: yes A year ago when I had connection issues they tried to blame the modem and wanted to sell me one for $100. I borrowed a neighbors and proved it was not the modem, so they came and fixed the lines. Now I guess I get a free modem arriving Monday, and will have to call back when it doesn't solve the problem.
localzuk Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 Sounds like a typical ISP! BT always blamed faulty routers when they used to reset all the time. Pointing out that I could demonstrate, and cause the reset by having a significant number of connections going through the router (via P2P software for example) was ignored. I ended up going through 4 of their HomeHubs before I gave up and bought my own. @Geoff - as you're fiddling with magic, it may be worth you installing a lightning rod from Immersive Engineering. Get yourself some power from all that weather disturbance.

'Cause I know those ones. lol. @localzuk I'm going to come ninja your macerator for a bit just to skip the initial 1:1 ratio of ores.
