LiamH Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Can I borrow your sigil so I can make a builder's wand?! I really want one. Yeah that's not a problem, i think its in my inventory right now but when I'm online you can use it. I also have a deactivated one from the wither if you want to take that to have your own/make a mob spawner.
Garacesh Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 No more jetpack for me! Found a division vigil and killed the wither a couple of times so i now have a flying ring and healing axe. Got a tad confused after a break for food and made 2 flying rings, so if anyone wants one let me know. Got a full set of dark armour now and upgrading that, got a tree farm and a mob farm running. Speaking of the mob farm, the big cobblestone block near my base is full of cursed earth so be careful if you peak inside... Still yet to move into the new building, Still need to sort out a AE network, But have decent tools and weapons now at least. Exactly my point about people ploughing ahead lol Sounds interesting! I'll have to come nosey at your place, pick up a few tips, try and get to grips with some of the mods.

Mine is not too impressive right now, its literally a hole in the ground with a tinkers smelter and a load of disorganised chests full of random junk. I have mainly be focused on tooling myself up (excuse the pun) I do have a ender pump providing Lava for lava gens in my new base which is just a shell, some basic botania stuff which will hopefully soon be fed charcoal from the tree farm. I'm thinking about going to the end and getting some dragonic stuff on the go, i know the resurrection ritual for the dragon is quite expensive though and might not be able to get that done straight away, anyone have a issue with him being killed? or do you just want to wipe the end every now and then to let other people have a shot at the dragon?

I think periodic wiping and some communal "dragon slaying" battles would be fun. We don't need to use the end as an enderman spawning location, so we don't need anything permanent there.
jedmondson Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I am trying to get a tree farm setup so i can have lots of coal. I relay miss having an AE system.

I wonder, is there a way to periodically regen the End/Nether/Ages but leave the Overworld intact?
localzuk Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 I wonder, is there a way to periodically regen the End/Nether/Ages but leave the Overworld intact? Yeah, that's easy to do.
LiamH Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Can i have a ring? Sure thing. I wonder, is there a way to periodically regen the End/Nether/Ages but leave the Overworld intact? Just give me a shout if you set it up with the nether, I do have stuff there. The Draconic stuff requires you to kill the dragon a few times to get everything.
Garacesh Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Yeah, that's easy to do. Maybe that would be better for a decent mix of longevity and availability. Keep the overworld 'Alive' for x-period of time (Say, six months?) and wipe the Nether/Ages/End monthly?

Garacesh Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 To be fair.. I do tend to create a lot of ages.. So periodically wiping those might be good xD Then again they don't exactly take up a lot of space.. S'pose I'll shout if I find one that's really worthwhile keeping, but that's unlikely.
LiamH Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 It could be quite cool if you wipe the overworld with plenty of notice but allow us to keep our inventories, so you can start fresh but with all the essentials you choose to bring. Sure you could game the system by bringing a inventory full of backpacks full of diamond chests on dolly's full of everything you would ever need. But setting up the systems in a new base will be fun.

localzuk Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 I have a plan in place for the future already... Just need to figure out how to do it
Geoff Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) There's no need to reset the end to get the dragon back as we have Draconic Evolution, so there is a certain ritual we can use. Ritual of Draconic Resurrection - Feed The Beast Wiki You have to do this anyway for the materials to create the end game Draconic Evolution tools. Edited November 3, 2015 by Geoff

Geoff Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Just change the biome at spawn to Nether and watch the ghasts chase people.

Yeah but its pretty expensive to do, plus i was planning on getting the armour first not the sword for the souls. Wouldn't want to kill the dragon and stifle someone's plan to do the same.
Garacesh Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Well.. Just logged in.. Doesn't my base suddenly feel ridiculously inadequate? D:
localzuk Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 Well.. Just logged in.. Doesn't my base suddenly feel ridiculously inadequate? D: Only way to fix that... Get on and build!
Geoff Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 After some mis-adventure in the nether (and a big weapons upgrade). I managed to get some blaze rods.
localzuk Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) Think everyone needs to make themselves some better armor! I've now got a mooshroom farm, pig farm and chicken farm set up, plus I kidnapped a Villager who sells emeralds for beef and pork. Makes life easier! Edited November 4, 2015 by localzuk
Garacesh Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I have a vault atrium and a few rooms? Should've really gone for function over form.. Ah well. lol.
