[windows software] Office 2016 KMS Host Key?!

I'm having problems trying to find out key for office 2016 pro plus?

 

I got the patch which runs the vbs scirpt but cant find the key to do it?

 

(I have a mac key though)

You need to call Microsoft to get the KMS key assigned to your agreement. If you do a quick search for Windows 10 KMS (on these forums) you'll get the phone number, and it was option 4 and then option 1 when I called a fortnight ago

I have spoken to Microsoft and got our KMS key for Office 2016. When I try and import this into VAMT it complains that it is unsupported and that I should upgrade. I am on version 10 of VAMT. The link that it sends me to is Version 8.0 :/ .... I am running VAMT on Server 2012 R2.

 

Is there anything else that I need to do? The host key that we have installed is "Windows Srv 2012R2 DataCtr/Std KMS for Windows 10". As far as I am aware there isn't a newer one that includes Office 2016?

 

I have also ran the 'Office Professional Plus 2016 Key Management Service Host' to no avail.

 

Any help is much appreciated. Sorry @newpersn if I steal the thread.

All I did was run kms_host.vbs and then enter the Office 2016 KMS key when prompted.

Cheers @Arthur ... that's what I have done. Fingers crossed that it will work. Just need to get it installed on a few more PCs to make it up to 5 before I can test that it is activating.

WTF! it was a straight upgrade - no changes for last years agreement - currently awaiting a reply from the supplier!! not impressed. i did get the Win 10 and Server 2012 ones. If you have a volume license agreement (including EES) then it is defiantly supported. I previously had fun with them as well before being bounced to the US, which gave me this number a call 08009179016 which provided an Office KMS key.

 

If they say any rubbish about it not being supported, stand your ground and get them to talk to their manager, because it is. It's also says on the VLSC website in the FAQ somewhere that KMS keys can be requested for volume license agreements.

We're in the EES agreement. I rang yesterday, needing the KMS for both Windows 10 and Office 2016 as they weren't on the VLSC. It was easy - they just said it needed to be requested by calling. They typed for a bit and then it appeared. I suggested that a message on the area you'd expect to find the code might be appropriate.
