browolf Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 i got it over xmas. its pretty cool but a close 2nd to my fav game ffxi online. I reckon if you took the best aspects of both games and combined them you have one hell of an uber game. i like the way wow revolves around quests and the way the areas are all joined up and the way levelling and farming and skilling can all be done simultaneously. anyway i'm a level 18 human warlock in a realm called khadgar.
tarquel Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I've heard that its too easy but I havent played it to know whether its true r not. I havent the spare cash for two paid subscriptions a month..... or time lol Cheers Nath
GrumbleDook Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Lvl 40 Paladin on Teranas. Still a very low usage player, and mainly just help out in the guild with the lower level types on some of their quests and then get help in return to level up every so often from one of the big fellas in their spare time from major group battles.
Jake Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Was a beta tester during early 2004 on the US servers Been playing retail on the US servers since nov 2004. Got 3 level 60 horde characters, and now have 6 alliance characters, level 50, 47, 35, 35, 33 and 20
pshuttle Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Teviala - Level 52 Warlock on Azjul-Nerub realm. I think the game is great and I play when I get the time. Pete

Got 3 level 60 horde characters, and now have 6 alliance characters, level 50, 47, 35, 35, 33 and 20 Do you actually do anything else other than play WoW then? Pete
browolf Posted January 24, 2006 Author Posted January 24, 2006 I've heard that its too easy but I havent played it to know whether its true r not. tbh i had that impression too beforehand but there's surprising depth and a lot of nifty features. its apples and oranges tho. i prefer ff party combat because there's usually more time for planning whereas in wow its all a mad rush
Jake Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Do you actually do anything else other than play WoW then? Pete Hehe..yeah. Its actually extremely easy and quick to level in WoW if you know what you're doing. Can get a character to 60 in a month pretty easily, its all just a question of knowing which quests to do in which order, and optimizing your double experience time.
kingswood Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 I need to buy this game for my Mac. But I have got a beta copy of the new FF for XBox 360. Sweet. ;-)
