GemTag x501 Drivers

Does anyone have access to the Drivers/SDK kit for GemTag x501 RS232 Mifare card readers?

 

I have 20 devices here, ready to use with a couple of systems, but need to locate the Drivers!

 

I had hoped that eclipse.net would work with them, but I suspect its only the USB version they support.

You could try downloading SlimDrivers:

Download the driver scanner, run a scan, let it install the driver and then uninstall. It has worked for me with difficult-to-find drivers on several occasions.

Call Gemini 2000 and ask for the link to the card listener software for that hardware.

 

I've heard that eclipse may do something funny and the standard 'pretend it's a keyboard' mode most basic card readers can operate in does not work.

Does anyone have the SDK for these card readers? Gemini would like to charge me £200 for a copy, MLS want to just charge whatever they can... I cant justify buying the SDK without knowing its going to work, If I can find someone with a SDK install, I can probably swap some readers for a quick compile job...

The £199 price for the SDK includes a reader, which you obviously already have a number of, so please ignore that.
