jtoland Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Hay guys Have any of you ever tried fixing a genee vision 8100 as i can not find anything on the net the problem i have is that it powers up but does not display anything and this is what the buttons look like

Contacted Genee about it...they wanted to take it in for diagnostics but couldn't/wouldn't quote how much it would be for a fix or shipping. It is still sat in the server room at the school because of this.

smithson83 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 I had the same issue on one of ours (but a 6100), I took everything apart, couldn't see anything part from a tiny bit of what looked like acid leak from somewhere. Rubbed it off with a pen eraser (remember them...), put it all back together, worked fine...
