gtg93 Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Hi All, Not convinced there's a way round this, but has anyone found a way / can anyone think of a way, that we'd be able to bulk register Fujitsu warranties? Their warranty site is: https://ts.fujitsu.com/supportpack/ As you'll see, you pick your language, click next, fill in your warranty package number, click next, fill in your address and contact details, click next and then it's done. This is fine, until you have 120 computers to do. And supporting multiple schools, this does at times happen during holidays. Anyone any ideas? My colleague attempted to script it, and asked them for their API, but they said no...
halbaradkenafin Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 It's probably possible with something like AutoIT but I'm not sure of the limitations of that. Scripting it would probably be possible but not easy. Surely they have some way to do it themselves so you could just phone up and say "I'd like to register x devices with you and can send a csv plus proof of purchase" and they'll give you email details or something. I know Toshiba have done this for us in the past and I'd like to think most suppliers can do something similar. 1
witch Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 On that page it says: "and (2) a so called master activation key for Solution Registration including SolutionPack and multiple Support Packs HW/SW." If you have this sort of pack I think you can then register them all at once 1
snagrat Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Ask your reseller to do it for you, if they are a Fujitsu partner then it is easy for them to get Fujitsu to do it by just emailing the serials. 1
john Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Just raise a support case with Fujitsu they may also help you if the reseller cannot. Samsung were most helpful when I got a load of netbooks once I said I'm not doing your form 30 times they agreed and said do it all in excel and they would process and they did 1
GuyJD Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 I spoke to Fujitsu about this before and they were extremely unhelpful, I gave up and didn't bother registering them 1
