Popular Post sonofsanta Posted September 18, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 18, 2015 I don't know how or why it took me so long to find these, but they are incredible. http://www.nowmicro.com/recast/right-click-tools/ Using some PowerShell voodoo, these extend SCCM so you can manage client actions centrally. For example: right click on a Device Collection and Clear Client Cache. Right click on a deployment and Rerun Deployment - and then it asks you whether you want to run it on successful, in progress or failed clients. And loads more! And all free! I've had SCCM for 4 years and hadn't seen this, so I thought I'd point them out here for others, as I know there's a fair chunk of other people who roll with config manager as well. Which means this is the point where you all tell me oh my god I can't believe you didn't have these already, we've had them since about 30 seconds after setting up SCCM, you're so stoopid... 6
halbaradkenafin Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 That's pretty cool, I'll have to look into that as I really miss the rerun deployment functionality from 2007.
techyluke Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Where has this been??? Thanks for the link!
strawberry Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I've just borked my install of hta tools so this looks good!

mrbios Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Interesting, i wonder if these "now micro" ones are made by the same guy who put the original on the windows-noob forums a few years back. I'm running a version that wasn't by any "now micro" company, doesn't have an icon etc. but looks identical in every other way. If not, they've probably nicked it. Either way, looks a bit newer than the version I'm using so i might update mine anyway
Arthur Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Interesting, I wonder if these "now micro" ones are made by the same guy who put the original on the windows-noob forums a few years back. They used to be called PS Right Click Tools. Been using them for years. I thought everyone knew about them already.
mrbios Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 They used to be called PS Right Click Tools. Been using them for years. I thought everyone knew about them already. That's the one! Appears it is the same people, nice to see they've developed it a bit, i've never bothered to update it, i know what I'm doing first thing tomorrow morning then
markwilfan Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Right click tools are life changing in sccm
MrFrostmaul Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Really need to get a SCCM system setup now
