VMWare here.

Hyper-V is getting close though.

I find VMWare support excellent when it has been needed which hasn't been often thus far. We have approx 25 hosts in vCenter

I've had a lot more experience with VMWare so am more used to the client GUI (since ESX3).

Sketchy experience with Hyper-V, looking forward to the next Hyper-V version to see what it's like.

Both are good and have and do and will use them both, moving forward in education I would use hyper-v makes even more sense if you start thinking anything cloudy! (azure)
