Upwords - it's similar to scrabble with the addition of being able put words on top of/across existing ones on the board.

This could be quite a long list...

Carcassone

Settlers of Catan

Tomorrow

Killer Bunnies

The Metagame

Get Doctor Lucky

Love Letter

Jackpot

Zombies!!!

Keep Running

Exploding Kittens

Taboo

Thud

Escalation of Privilege

I'll stop there. We obviously don't take all of them every time, but there's always half a dozen or so.

When I was growing up we always played Rummy or Poker for matches or pennies.

At home we usually played Scrabble or Monopoly (custom rules) although inevitably it would end with my sister screaming and in floods of tears as my father my bankrupted her when she landed on Park Lane... Oh the sweet sweet memories...

Also @jamesb - HOW DO YOU HAVE EXPLODING KITTENS SO EARLY! *is jealous*

It arrived on the 31st of July, along with the special surprise. I guess I was just early enough in the kickstarter to catch the first wave of shipping. :)

Please please please PM me and tell me the surprise!

@AMLightfoot How do you not have Exploding Kittens yet?

Everyone I know who ordered it has theirs now...

I couldn't afford to back the kickstarter :-( I have to wait for it to go on general sale before I can enjoy the delights of the thousand year back hair :-(
