If we access that URL on our unfiltered connection (through SWGfL) through HTTP or HTTPS it's fine, so it's gotta be related to that address. Come on RM!

If you ctrl click, it's filtered... unless you copy+paste+go the plain text url underneath. The results link suddenly works afterwards. Just noticed it with a youtube video and an edugeek link.

I've had a similar glitch this morning... It cleared by lunch time.

If you haven’t yet installed SSL certificates then please be aware that Google appear to have made a change to SafeSearch which is allowing some pages through which it wasn’t before. We are speaking to them and will share an update as soon as we have more news. Our recommendation is to install the SSL certificates as soon as you can, following the instructions here: Changes to Google SSL and RM SafetyNet | RM Education - What we do

With the greatest of respect we are all well aware of this on this forum. That's why this thread exists. With help from a colleague I think we have found the issue - a URL that is used to retrieve the JavaScript to run the image preview thing within Google Image search is filtered when accessed over HTTPS, meaning the script cannot be loaded, meaning users get nothing when they try to click on an image for its preview. Perhaps you could get someone to update my support call no 4974600 which has been open since the 25th June?

Whilst the work on the permanent resolution is being completed, we will be rolling out a temporary fix tonight that is very similar to the workaround mentioned in your above comments. Thanks.

ColinP Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 We have decided to block all search engines other than bing. sounds drastic but when the kids are at home even behind something like BT's prenatal settings, typing porn into google images still gets through. The idea is they may start using Bing at home .. Who knows...

[it's complaining about the date.] Certificate is valid for us - date is 18/6/2015 - 16/9/2015. Are the clocks right on the clients? Kinda odd they issued a certificate that's only valid for 3 months though! Seems like they're creating work for themselves. Surely a 1 year cert would've been more sensible. If they need to revoke it they still can.

My guess would be that some of the proxies in the farm are using an out of date certificate or something if it isn't the client date being wrong - as each server in the farm will have a different certificate but all from the same CA. Might be worth taking a note of the proxy server on any machine that gets the date issue by going to the test page - RM Education - Proxy Test Edited July 8, 2015 by localzuk

Mine, which works, is [also stuff].th1.isp.ifl.net tc1 seems to need to be updated... Stupid google forcing HTTPS.
