adamholt1 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Hi, Little bit stuck here! Please see the picture from a command prompt when doing a gpupdate. It does the same error when trying to force it to. Nothing has changed on the network lately and this has all of a sudden started. Some of the policies now are starting to play up for some strange reason! 1. Any ideas why it may have started? 2. What's the fix! Thanks as always!
SteveM555 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Does the report tell you more information? gpresult /H GPReport.html in command. Is it just the drive mapping that's not working? If so, check that nothing already has a drive letter mapped (e.g. card reader in pc/laptop) by checking disk management. Failing that check that the GPO is correct with the share name, there should be no backslash after the path.

Isn't anything else using that particular drive letter.

adamholt1 Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 Bit of a mixed domain as of yet until summer. Never been an issue before though? I will try the hotfix suggested above. It's the computer policies working fine its the users that are throwing warnings and errors. When I implement the policy and enforce it on the default domain policy rather than the specific organizational unit they seem to work seamlessly!
Oaktech Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I get the version mismatch error between my 2012r2 dc and my 2008r2 dc even though my functional level is set at 2008. Provided I manage my GPO from a win8.1 box it all seems to work fine though. Sorry I'm not much help.
