damn you nier automata gets to ending d&e (i think) then it asks if i want to delete my save file to help other people so i think sure its not actually going to do that its just some sort of test for which ill get a trophy. Nope it full on deleted my save file(s) and reset the game bar trophies to as if id never played it. Oh well im now ~5 hours back into it its amazing how quickly you can get through the campaign if you know where you need to go and skip cut-scenes lol im just dying a lot more as because i know where im going ive got in less random battles and so have a lower level (im about level 17 iirc) and about to go do the missile mission on route a

well after 8.5 hours ish thats nier automata route A complete (irc have endings a g & w listed) and started a bit of route B its amazing how quickly you can "speed run" when you know where youre going even managed to pick up a few weapons and a pod i diddnt have 1st time round so as well as rockets and a gattling gun i now have a laser but atm no cash lol

I don't like it all that much either but

 

a) Tough enemies

b) As it's a vault, there's a lot of stuff to loot, extra carry weight is probably a plus!

 

Always use power armor, rarely ever out of it. Mostly because my luck tends to draw me straight towards Behemoths or Deathclaws without so much as a by-your-leave.

finally on sunday got my nier automata file back to where it was this time last sunday lol. on the plus side i found a few more endings (including dying from easting a fish lol) so im now working on the trophies currently working on the upgrade all the weapons one and stage one get all the weapons 3 short atm 2 appear to be a bit of a random wait for so and so to spawn in area x the other is a quest i need to do. you can though use in game currency and buy them but i think ill leave that until i stop enjoying the game. in doing clearup though i wonder how i missed 2 of the pod weapon upgrades i must of walked past them 3 or 4 times lol. my save screen now looks like an awful scrabble hand with the lettered endings ive found

werll ive given in and bought the last few trophies on nier lol it was getting to the point where doing them was cruching my enjoyment of the game by having to farm materials, kill x enemies in a particular way i never use etc

 

so as the next game on my radar isnt out till 15th feb whats peoples opinions on assassins creed origins as that looks like fun i assume its not that dissimilar from ghost recon wildlands just more bows less sniper rifles / args

Nope - each is an element within itself.

 

There are minor references (such as there's a poster of a Persona 4 char in P5), but not knowing about them removes nothing from the game.

P4 was PS2 which you can use an emulator for. P4G was Vita.

p4 golden was vita thats meant to be the best version of it. i suspect with how well p5 sold it will get a ps4 port (or possibly even switch) at some point in the not too distant future

To be fair to them - P1 & 2 were PS1 games and P3 & 4 were PS2. The Megaten series (Which the Persona series is kinda a member of) never seemed to go big into the PS3 (aside from Catherine/Katherine, P4 Arena and a couple of others). It seems they mostly missed that entire generation.

 

(Although as stated above the best edition of P4 - P4: Golden, is a PSVita game)

shin megami tensei is coming to switch this year i believe and tokyo mirage sessions#fe is a smt game (its working title was shin megami tensei x fire emblem) on wii nu and its a good game similar to persona but still different and a lot of fun shame because it was on wiiu it sold really badly as its a lot of fun but omg is new game plus hard

P4G would be perfect on Switch!!! Or maybe even a sequel! I felt the P4 cast were much more charming than the P5 cast.

i have a 3ds and dont ever want to use it the switch is just about 100000 times better lol. still got a gb pocket colour and gba sp in the spare room and somewhere at my parents an atari lynx

well started assassins creed origins over the weekend and enjoyed it so much ive gone back to playing xenoblade 2. got over 150 hours logged and still stuff to do, found a level 109 monster and promptly legged it (im ~level 80) waiting now for new game plus later this month and am maxing out blades i have and still praying to the rng gods for the 3 blades im missing at least i found 1 so its less but having to farm cores and bin blades to make room for more isnt much fun

Successfully done the first palace, with a couple of days spare ( lost two days trying to create enough lockpicks, the time consumption is annoying me right now, probably just because i'm not used to it) guess it's something i'll have to work out throughout the game (balancing study, making coffee etc)
